Clerkenwell Design Week

Celebrating its 9th year, Clerkenwell Design Week has firmly established itself as the UK’s leading independent design festival, annually attracting the cream of the international design community to ‘our’ little borough of London for three days of exciting events. The 2017 edit saw over 34,000 visitors and more than 300 exhibiting brands. Integral to the festival, of course, are the showrooms – the residents – who partner with CDW every year, providing the festival with a stimulating programme of events, seminars, talks, workshops and product launches. These participating showrooms include high-end furniture, lighting, kitchen and bathroom, flooring, surface and material brands. And despite reports to the contrary (oh those C’well fishwives will gossip), there are plenty of top brands returning this year. Here’s our definitive guide to the best of ’em…


During Clerkenwell Design Week, Elite’s open showroom provides visitors with the opportunity to view its latest products, including Progress Plus, an enhanced Sit/Stand desk, Alto Bench for agile working, Salto multi-purpose chairs and Bob, its newest bench stool.
