Each issue of mix interiors is made up of regular sections covering all aspects of the contract interiors business.
The fluid nature of the contract interiors business means that it is impossible to predict the case studies that mix interiors will publish. One thing is certain – mix interiors will include more case studies, in greater detail than any other magazine. Each in depth case study looks at clients’ business objectives – and how design has helped them achieve their goals.

As you would expect, mix interiors covers the exhibitions around the world that influence our market, as well as detailed analyses of British fairs. Since mix interiors was first published no other British magazine in the sector has devoted more editorial to such diverse trade shows as NeoCon, EIMU, Orgatec, Ofitec, Workplace and the late lamented Spectrum.

We always welcome press releases for our previews and reviews. We suggest that the earlier you send the press release the more likely it is that it will be included. However, to be more precise, suggested latest copy dates are the 15th of the previous month.
mix interiors does not produce advertising led ‘product round up’ features such as ‘What’s new in storage’. In our view, such features rarely offer much in the way of editorial insight as they tend to feature those companies who advertise within the article and are therefore less than objective.
Each issue of mix interiors also includes coverage of showroom events. Often a major part of the marketing mix, launches and parties are valid elements of the interiors scene.

2010 saw regular features from industry commentators with completely different outlooks on life, the universe and everything. Leading marketeer Mark Eltringham, HR Search guru Simon Johnson and former Blueprint editor Grant Gibson are always pithy, generally provocative and definitely worth a read.
Our Mixtures pages are a round up of the latest products and projects.
8th June 2011 is without any question the date in the diary. mixology11 - the mix interiors Awards and Summer Ball. A great summer venue by the Thames, high quality catering, unlimited free beer and wine, awards that don’t drone on for ever and top music (Alphabeat in 2010) all add up to a massive night.
25th November 2010 at Manchester's Palace Hotel saw the fourth annual Mixology North. 2010’s event hosted over 600 movers and shakers involved in the north’s office interiors industry with all the same ingredients - free beer and wine, quality hospitality and top international djs (Brandon Block in 2010)- that make the mixology experience so successful.
