Small but mighty: five compact office spaces
Five of our favourite small-scale workspaces prove bigger doesn’t necessarily equal better.
The last issue of 2022 is here. In what has been a seminal year for the brand, we look back at a culmination of highlights across people, products and events.
Dear Mix readers,
Mix Interiors issue 223 marks the end of one year and the beginning of another. It’s been a seminal year for the brand – one that has seen us step out from under the harsh shadow of COVID, with a renewed sense of vision and vigour. As we look ahead at the year to come also, our work is not done, with audacious plans to showcase and champion the brightest people and boldest brands in dynamic new ways.
In this issue we look back: with Goddard Littlefair, as the studio’s founders reminisce on the 10-year anniversary of the studio; at Mixology North22, in a special spread recounting the winners; and in our ‘the year that was’ feature, with highlights from 2022 across people, products and events. We also represent the ambition inherent in a new year: from the landmark Battersea Power Station project to the W Dubai Mina Seyahi; in our roundtable discussion with Amtico, where we discuss the role BTR can play in building a community; and it’s encapsulated in our interview with i/o atelier co-founder and CEO, Steven Charlton, in which he discusses using data to create more meaningful human experiences.
So all that remains to be said, on behalf of all at the Mix team, is cheers to the year that was and here’s to the year ahead.
Enjoy,
Harry McKinley
