Interface’s latest carpet tile collection aims to captures nature’s inherent form: from grasslands to stony shores, arid landscapes to the breaking waves of the ocean, Connected Ethos creates a vibrant and transformative design foundation.

The main field tiles feature 16 warm earthy neutrals and 16 accent colours including grassy and jungle greens, icy blues and cool greys to create spaces people can visit to reconnect with nature. “The essence of the collection is to create a harmony between our built environments and our natural landscapes,” the Interface design team comment. “Humans evolved in rich and diverse sensory landscapes, so it’s only natural that we crave a connection to nature.”

The CE200 transition tiles have been crafted to unite the accent colours and earthy tones of the collection, supporting designers with creating natural walkways within multiple space design.

The current ‘resimercial’ trend, combining residential and commercial aesthetics, is reflected in the collection too, with warmer neutrals that can be combined with rich accent tones.

Connected Ethos is available in 50x50cm carpet tiles, meaning the collection can seamlessly integrate with the broader Interface system of modular flooring solutions to elevate any space.

Connected Ethos is made up of 91.8% recycled and biobased content, including 100% recycled nylon. The collection is carbon neutral across its full product life cycle through the company’s third-party verified Carbon Neutral Floors™ programme.

As a pioneer in sustainability, Interface is third-party certified as a Carbon Neutral Enterprise and is committed to creating flooring products that help decarbonise the built environment. It has neutralised its carbon impact across the entire business, including all operations and full value chain, marking an important milestone toward its objective to become a restorative and carbon negative enterprise by 2040.

Inspired by natural landscapes, the collection features warm neutral tones and earthy accent colours to create positive spaces.
