The chair is Sebastian’s first design in collaboration with Fritz Hansen, and is made without glue – making steam cleaning possible for high-use settings such as office lobbies and hotel guest rooms.
‘The general idea is about lightness and comfort,’ explains Sebastian. ‘The chair becomes an oasis to relax. Light and precise, comfy and communicative. I like the character of the armrest, which is spreading its wings in an inviting gesture.’
‘The curved back of this chair is designed to cradle and comfort,’ adds Christian Andresen, Fritz Hansen’s Head of Design. ‘This is an excellent design alone or arranged in groups for socialising.’
The chair comes fully upholstered in textile or leather, with bases available in powder coated steel, classic chrome or wood (natural ash, oak and black ash) for endless combinations within a space.
The Let™ lounge chair is a new addition to a recognised collection of lounge chairs from Fritz Hansen, including Arne Jacobsen´s Egg™ and Poul Kjærholm’s PK22™.
