Clifton Arms Hotel by APM Design

Mixology North21 Project of the Year Finalist: Hotel Interiors

16/11/2021 1 min read

APM Design carried out a multi-disciplinary role for their client at the Clifton Arms Hotel as part of a £1.3million refurbishment.

APM Design acted as Interior Designer, Project Manager, Quantity Surveyor and Ccontract Administrator. This gave APM the control over the project to ensure the client received a transformative hotel refurbishment within their programme and budget perimeters.

The design was centred on creating a new modern interior whilst drawing inspiration from the hotel’s coastal location. The intention was always to keep the colour palette connected to the sea, for that reason a lot of sand and blue tones were used throughout the hotel. There is a cork cladded feature wall in the restaurant along ide a sculptural piece of driftwood, all paying homage to the hotel’s enviable location by the sea.
