Signature 36+ French Weave in Kirby Oak
UK, Europe and International
British flooring manufacturer Amtico has introduced Designers’ Choice laying patterns to its Signature 36+ luxury vinyl tile (LVT) safety flooring collection, offering specifiers the opportunity to craft safety floors in its flagship Signature designs with the added benefit of enhanced slip resistance. Signature 36+ can now be specified in 23 laying patterns in over 100 Designers’ Choice options, a curated selection of the in-house design team’s favourite combinations of products, as well as unique versions that can be created by switching out one or all of the products with Amtico’s Endless Possibilities option.
Like the premium Signature collection’s Woods and Stones, the laying patterns are rooted in timeless allure and authenticity to create commercial spaces people can connect with. Wood designs such as Gable Parquet, Versailles Parquet and Chantilly Weave can all be used to enhance the original features of a building and bring a more natural feel, while Stone laying patterns including Lune, Arc and Gatsby Square offer any space a retro, contemporary or industrial aesthetic.
Signature 36+ therefore meets the official standard to provide enhanced slip resistance throughout its lifetime, while also ensuring specifiers no longer need to compromise on design possibilities. The BS EN 13845 Enhanced Slip Standard defines the minimum performance a floor or tile must have to officially be called a safety floor; however, this standard not only defines a surface’s slip performance but also shows that the collection will be sustainable throughout its life, due to the crushed ceramic particles in the wear surface still being present after many cycles of wear or abrasion.
