Pirajean Lees blends Japanese and Spanish influences at Kioku
Home to Michelin-starred sushi master Endo Kazutoshi, the new fusion restaurant and sake bar opens its doors at the Grade II* listed Old War Office.
British investment banking leader, Peel Hunt, relocated their offices to expand in an environment that was more conducive to growth. The workplace considers firm aspirations for the immediate and long-term future. To that end, HLW designed the new offices with a priority placed on flexibility. In addition, it was important to leadership to carefully consider the benefits of re-use, both for the sake of cost efficiency and to focus on sustainability.
HLW worked closely with the Peel Hunt team to develop a scheme that included enhanced, client-facing facilities with fine dining amenities and a new auditorium to increase the potential for attracting clients. The footprint also included ample space for a trading floor. The design captured a sense of the present and the future, celebrating new, modern, relevant British businesses.
