S•CAB welcome a new table to their Squid collection

Brought to life in 2021, the Squid collection by S•CAB is a versatile and generous table series designed by RadiceOrlandini DesignStudio. Generous in size and flexible in functionality, the Squid collection plays on the shape of hexagons and rectangles to create a refined aesthetic.  

Detail found within the die-cast aluminium leg creates a sense of lightness by appearing in the shape of a “cuttlefish bone” – in turn inspiring the name of the collection. Attached to metal tubular frames, the legs generate a solid support structure for the tabletops, available in a range of materials including Calacatta and Sahara Noir precious marble or HPL laminate.

The latest novelty for the Squid collection is the extendable Allungabile table – a customizable piece of furniture that adjusts according to its needs. Easy to handle, extendable Squid gives life to a versatile product suited to indoor and outdoor environments. In addition, two included HPL extensions make Squid a table suited to numerous furnishing arrangements. 

With shapes and sizes that are out of the ordinary but still easy to assemble and move – plus fixed or extendable options available – the Squid tables are a beneficial addition to the workplace or hospitality and public sector venues. As a product that can be fully disassembled for a correct recycling process, the collection is also a representation of the company’s commitment to sustainability.
