Ark unveils its first experiential co-living space
At Wembley Ark in North London, Holloway Li designs for a new type of community.
Inspired by Scotland’s cosmopolitan capital, Tattu Edinburgh pays homage to the relationship between ‘traditional and contemporary’; complete with a Chinois-style interior that features intricate wooden fretwork, antique furnishings and chinoiserie fabric.
London-based interior designers BusbyWebb led the VQ innovative design project, having created previous schemes for VQ in the past. Developing the style of the original 24-hour VQ in Chelsea, the design incorporates dark walnut and burgundy tones, with accents of timber and leather to enhance the quality and luxurious feel of the experience.
The launch marks the first step in a wider roll-out of a new concept-design blueprint for the brand in Europe, aiming to deliver a distinctive guest experience globally.

Recognising those who have made a significant contribution to the contract furnishing industry and their companies, the 2019 Panaz BCFA Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to Jack Pringle, Principal at Perkins&Will London, at the BCFA’s Annual Luncheon on 31st October.
